Re: Is Scope Obsolete?

Hey garyb, The problem for me is that I usually have 30-60 midi tracks in one song, and recording all those tracks down would take hours. With the songs I'm preparing for my own album, I'd have to spend a few full days recording all the tracks down to audio. Makes me wish for a 1 button export like ...

Re: Is Scope Obsolete?

Obsolete? No way. Though I would -love- the ability to freeze/export audio in the sequencer.. the sound quality and flexibility of scope is 100% worth the tradeoff for me

..... for now :)

Flexor in my opinion is the most valuable package in my Scope toolset. I use it most often out of any other Scope devices I've bought.

I should note that i did not have crashes when i only had a Pulsar 2 and energyXT. It ran very solid. Then when I bought the Scope Pro I started seeing these issues.

Hello! Thank you all for your replies. I have some hope :-P I have checked my midi controller and active sensing is OFF. Here is my IRQ settings: http://www.expertgear.com/stuff/other/scope_irq.JPG There is my ethernet controller (motherboard's network card) sharing IRQ with my Scope Professional. C...

Thanks for the reply. Hmm, well my system never crashes normally - only when making music and using Scope. I have a large Antec server case with very good cooling/ventilation. I always have SFP open (its my main audio driver) and the computer runs fine for days playing games or running regular windo...

Crashes with Scope Project + Scope Professional

Hello, I am using a Scope Project and Scope Professional, and have been getting a lot of crashes and not ideal behaviour. I have the two cards hooked up via STDM. When my sequencer crashes (usually after 1-3 hours of working on a track, Scope keeps playing an endless loop of the last half second of ...

You can enter the project name first, then hit Save As, and the default save file name comes up as your project name.

It would be nice if S|C could change their attitude about bugfixes and updates to devices. It would be great to see updates like "Modular 3.02 version released with preset bug fixes" etc for free, instead of one monolithic Modular III final product never to be updated again. This would be ...

Yes, Mod III shell has some small bugs in it which make it more frustrating to use. I always stick to Mod2 shell.

Though it would be fantastic if they could update Mod III and fix the bugs with Scope v5!

JoeKa, I very much enjoyed listening to this track. It has a fantastic atmosphere and much potential. I love the bass and the synthy 'edge' to it. The only things I can comment on, past kensuguro's suggestions, is that I felt like some elements of the track could be a bit more refined. In this type ...

What is there not to praise? :) The filters provide sound that was not facilitated with CW and Flexor 1 modules.. quite a different sound, and to me that's very welcome ! I really like all the usability improvements, like the new textboards and the easy-to-drag shapers and such - much more modern GU...
