Re: New Scope 5.1 RC2 in the FTP
Hello,
very nice that sonic-core supports 64 bit OSes now. I can begin to use my lovely Creamware systems again!
Do you know if beta program and ftp for downloading are public, open to all scope users ?
Thanks!

Re: Scope and cubase 4.5.2
It would be nice to know if this nice behaviour is due to cubase 4.5.2 update or to new asio.dll driver by soniccore or both.
Thanks

Thanks garyb ! Of course I'll put another harddrive for samples and another one for audio too (all sata i think), sorry if i didn't specify it . I just meant it as a base system without additional harddrives that obviously they would have been added . I am planning to install Windows XP without AHCI...

Hi AndreD , which motherboard are you using with such setup (scope + q6600)? Is PCI at 33 mhz and SATA/EIDE not overclocked / overvolted but running at their own freqs ? I am afraid that such motherboard speed may damage harddrives ... i had some ibms crashes in the past because using overclocked fe...

Yes, this kind of things and many others gives an idea of what a basic creamware system can do and no other system can. The only limit is our brain IMHO . I really want this platform to grow , not to die simply because there is nothing else in the market so flexible as scope systems! I think it's th...

I would love to see : 1) USB2 or Firewire option for A16ultra (like promised when it was out at the old creamware company) to be used like a 16 I/O soundcard with a portable system. 2) Firewire box with sharcs (or even better with more powerful DSPs). No need to use it standalone like noah (it could...

Yes, i also confirm that it's really important that Creamware does an usb2/firewire interface option for a16ultra , option planned at the time when i purchased it! I think now it's the right time to do that! sYm PS : what about doing a firewire driver for z-link protocol? Since it's a bit different ...

Yes, i fully agree too : next Creamware board has to be FIREWIRE ! FW400, FW800 or even usb2.0 would be ok too , for my taste ! I think they already HAVE Z-Link technology(that is near to firewire), so they should use that one for new systems, able to communicate through standard 1394 protocol! The ...
