very nice that sonic-core supports 64 bit OSes now. I can begin to use my lovely Creamware systems again!
Do you know if beta program and ftp for downloading are public, open to all scope users ?

It would be nice to know if this nice behaviour is due to cubase 4.5.2 update or to new asio.dll driver by soniccore or both.

Thanks garyb ! Of course I'll put another harddrive for samples and another one for audio too (all sata i think), sorry if i didn't specify it . I just meant it as a base system without additional harddrives that obviously they would have been added . I am planning to install Windows XP without AHCI...

so... a system with p5k asus + q6600 + ati x1550 will be fine and trouble-free with scope boards (1st or 2nd generation)? No glitches , no stutter ?

Hi AndreD , which motherboard are you using with such setup (scope + q6600)? Is PCI at 33 mhz and SATA/EIDE not overclocked / overvolted but running at their own freqs ? I am afraid that such motherboard speed may damage harddrives ... i had some ibms crashes in the past because using overclocked fe...

It's normal, z-link protocol lets you only choose your computer as "master" wordclock.

it seems there are problems in cremware servers again now : when you have the "unknown error" generating devices, you have the same error in the scope4 activation process...
