Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio
Hi Loren Thank you so much. I'll check these on my Win10 disk. But I have actually no problem with internet access with Win 10Pro. It's the OS that causes the crash with Scope and SAWStudio64 though. Win 7 is where I struggled with internet access, finally achieved on my test disk but not yet on my ...

Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio
Well - finally I have solved it. I kept installing and reinstalling the network drivers until I had internet but no webpages. The I had to install another web browser to replace the obsolete bundled Windows Explorer. I used an offline download to install Firefox and voila. I realise this has been a ...

Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio
I put my old Windows 7 disk back in my laptop. And that doesn't connect to the internet either. With Windows 10 - works perfectly. So the same as the audio computer. Maybe there is an issue with Windows 7 and our new internet provider. But if I use the mobile hotspot on my phone - they won't connect...

Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio
Confusing because I've tried both wired ethernet and wireless
This is the cmd prompt with only the ethernet adaptor enabled, no wi fi activated
The ethernet socket at the back of the computer shows solid green and flashing yellow

Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio
Thanks djmicron I've reached the stage where I can see Community Fibre in the internet options, connect to it with 'limited access' via wireless but this doesn't allow me to actually load a website. If I just leave the wired adaptor enabled, I can 'connect to the internet' and see network 3 connecte...

Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio
Hi Astroman - I remember your name from way back - I guess a lot of us are long time SonicCore/Creamware aficionados. I've had the router for ages - I've used it successfully in the past on Win 7 on this computer. I can't remember exactly when it bacame a problem but sometime recently the internet n...

Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio
I know Bud - it seems absurd.
I'm no expert but I have done a lot of this over the years. I've never had such difficulty connecting to the internet. I'll track it down. I know the router and cables are good as it connects perfectly when I use the Win 10 system disk.

Win 7 it is for now then. When a driver update arrives, I can try Win 10 again but I know these things take time with SonicCore.

Re: Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio
Thanks Gary
I'll stick to Win 7 for now then. I should be able to solve the internet connection problem but it is proving tricky.
Maybe I'll give Win 10 32bit a go in due course. Any obvious disadvantages compared to Win 10 64bit?

Win 10 Scope 7 crash with SAWStudio64 Asio
Hi I have a long time stable working system with Win 7 (no internet) so I am doing some Win 10 experimenting on a separate SSD system disk. System Specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit MSI Gaming 3 computer/motherboard. Intel i7-4790K 4.00GHz 32GB Dual Channel DDR3 RAM 3 x Pulsar 2 cards, no IRQ conflicts. S...

Re: Pulsar Digital Inputs
Well - that worked thanks. Yes the Scope system needs to be in slave mode. I'm stil sorting out thew various combinations of optical, coaxial and AES/EBU and the various sync sources but I have a working system. It's interesting that Mico has a slight compression on its analogue outputs compared to ...

Re: Pulsar Digital Inputs
Thanks Valis I'll try this when I get up tomorrow (I'm in the UK). I was going through the samplerate settings so I'll do some more. I've certainly seen one red sync light there. It's an Audient Mico (discontinued now) and it's pro quality. It can be slaved via wordclock but I'll try it as master. J...

Pulsar Digital Inputs
Hello I have a system with three Pulsar cards. Two have SPDIF digital inputs (phono) and one AES (xlr) on the breakout cables. I have a mic preamp with digital outputs i'm trying to get to work through the Scope digital inputs. The preamp has AES and SPDIF outputs and I've tried both without success...
