Re: Best mobo and cpu combo

Have a look in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=31&t=35301

Why that particular thread is housed under "off topic" I don't understand.

Re: MANUAL V7 SCOPE

Hi Miguel, Please stop shouting in here - People will feel more inclined to help you that way ;) Unfortunately there is no manual for Scope v7. The most recent manual is for Scope v5, which will do just fine, since there is no real difference in the functionality of Scope v7 and v5 - The manual for ...

Re: Key recovery possible?

Write to SonicCore's support mail.

Alternatively - If you have a backup of your old Scope installation, the key-file in that scope installation is all you need :)

Re: In layman terms please.....

I believe that Intel stopped producing Mobo's a few years back, otherwise it would be a safe bet. The "Asus Rog Maximus Hero X" is confirmed tried and tested positive with the XITE in this thread: http://forums.scopeusers.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35384 The "Asus Rog Maximus Hero X" is a bit expensiv...

Re: Atx quiet cooling systems.

I recently upgraded my old Scope machine and bought a new silent ATX case:

https://www.nzxt.com/products/h440-white (I paid 100€ for it on sale)

It is very silent but still very efficient because of the 4 fans in there. The only thing I hear now are the old HDD's and my GFX when gaming :)

Re: In layman terms please.....

What latency are you running in scope?

Raising it, might be an easy fix for the next few years.

Re: Pan not working correctly on QuantumWave or Solaris V4.1

I just checked this issue on SCOPE 7 and the pan-bug persist.

You can fix it on PCI-systems by copying not PAN_MODP.dsp from Scope v 4.5, which did the trick in Scope V5.1 but by copying PAN_MOD.dsp from Scope v 4.5.

The fix doesn't work on XITE SCOPE v7.

Re: CMS-1

I've tried it out in Live 10, and I can make it work, it's a nice synth :) I can control the synth from the VST plugin. But, I have to load the VST-plugin in an audio channel, and then I need to send midi motes from a midi channel, so that makes the midi notes seperate from the parameter-control. Is...

Re: Definitive Scope PCI card host PC?

I bought everything second hand and reused a few things from my old system, so it was a pretty cheap upgrade.

Re: Definitive Scope PCI card host PC?

OK - I have now build a new system with an I7-4790k on an ASUS H81-PLUS motherboard.

I have 3 PCI cards in there and my XITE and they all seem to work.

I got 10 Masterwerbs Pros without any problems on the PCI-cards, and got a PCI-Limit error on the 11th.

Re: Definitive Scope PCI card host PC?

I know that Sonic Core have used the mobo: ASUS H81-PLUS for testing of the PCI cards. Do we know anything about how well it/the chipset H81 is performing compared to Z87/Z97-based boards? I'm planning an upgrade and all I need now is a motherboard to run my 3 PCI boards and my XITE in the same mach...

Yeah - I find it interesting as well, but the price is "naughty". Is there any real experience with running SCOPE PCI-cards on these newer chipsets and if, what was the performance like?

Re: Six String on Scope XITE 7 @ 96kHz max 2 voices before DSP capacity limit

Yes, going 96Khz will double your DSP resource needs. Maybe the single most important reason to consider, if you really need that almost unnoticeable fluff of air ;)
