Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

Yeah - but that particular plugin is why I think it's the plugiator in a new format, still running on Scope 4.

Anyways, godspeed to him.

Now bring us Scope 7.1 so I can regain my correct focus :)

Re: MPA: A whole new Chapter for SCOPE and you are invited

I'm only speculating, but the plugins mentioned matches what was available for the Plugiator, including the mysterious FM synth, that we do not have ;)

Re: windows 10 - scope 7 crashing

I can't really help you with the issue, but I'm sure that more details on your new system (which motherboard etc.) would be needed for others to help you. But, since you need a stable system next week, perhaps you should have a plan B and maybe think about bringing the old machine back to life. Whic...

Re: Acon Digital's Verberate 2 reverb

I might have chosen my words badly. I don't think Scope reverbs are bad, but I just can't achieve the reverb sound I'm looking for with any of them, and I have tried them all. Even the Relab UM1280, which is actually not a reverb unit, but "only" a delay/echo machine in it's present state. I find th...

Re: Acon Digital's Verberate 2 reverb

Astroman is hinting on it, that the Scope Reverbs are not really cutting it. To me, they all have a very similar sound character, and I have never been able to make them sound the way I want them to. But taking the roundtrip from scope to a vst-reverb and back again just seems too stupid to me - Are...

Re: Somewhat off topic. Did these guys copy the SC website?

It sure looks like the "startup" build their new site using the code from SonicCore's website.

I wonder if there is a good explanation other than theft?

That is not my experience.

To me it is simply like having two scope systems in the same machine :)

Re: Old devices & downloads - do you have them?

Maybe it would be a better idea to totally rethink the situation and create a "device"-archive from scratch.

It would be easier to find stuff and I'm sure that the lot of us have if not all, most of the devices ever uploaded.

Just a thought :)

They should be pretty easy to make them yourself, which is probably quicker than any other solution:

Unless you are very lucky here off course :)

Re: PCI capacity limit

The PCI-Cards have always been "delicate" about which chipset/motherboard they work well together with. The only way around this particular behavior is to find motherboards and chipsets that are tested and proven to work well with Scope. We have all become part time chipset mobo-alcymysts in here be...

Re: Scope STS 5000 = Roland V-synth??!!

If my memory services me right, the STS-5000 is modelled after the Akai S5000.

I guess that both samlpers and the V-Synth shares features (Pitch shift) and samples, which explains the similarity:

You only need "one cable to rule them all"

But as many as possible "to bind them" the best way you can together.

Re: How to save midiCC after assigning an device or module ?

Unfortunately it is still a bug in Scope 7. Also, the bug isn't "just" a few knobs not being assigned anymore. Some of the affected knobs/variables stops working correctly and also changes the values, thus some of these buggy knobs might affect your "reloaded" sound and cause it to sound different w...

Re: How to save midiCC after assigning an device or module ?

You are able to save cc-presets in the "CC-midi"-folder in the preset-folder. But there is a bug in the system (long explanation) and some devices (fx all main Creamware/Sonic/Core-developed synths) will not function correctly and maybe sound different upon reloading a preset. Saving a project also ...
