I don't know. Though I wholeheartedly agree on your observations :).

I load it up in shortcircuit these days though.

Re: Huge acoustic drumkit, free for planet-z

Ok, I didn't bother, I just repacked what I had on disk. Had to clean it up some, but this should be close if not perfect to the original release.

Give it 30 mins to upload:

Re: IBP expansion chassis (Magma relabeled/OEM)

I still have this thing laying around, boxed and everthing. Tested, but never used. If I could load it off my shoulders for some cheap dough, I would be glad.

Any old schoolers with a Cardbus/Laptop welcome.

Re: Reaper 4 is out

Interesting. So you can mix at 8 bit?

What about the other options, where they put in to calm integer vs float speculants?

48-bit? Where do you get this from? It says 64-bit everywhere.

Re: Resetting MIDI ports in XTC mode

No, I think it is how it is related to how the project files are loaded. I.e. the midi drivers are not loaded yet when the host looks.

Re: different audio driver with xtx eg. asio4all?

You can use XTC mode with a different interface. There is a recent thread about this.

Check the protools thread.

There are some problems though.

Re: pci sxpansion

Not sure really. Try googling. I'm still on a PCI system. All I have used are DoubleDawg and such tools to control the latency. My system is pretty much tweaked for the benefit of the DSP, which is what you had to do to get 19/20 instances. I think the consensus is that the newer hardware has worse ...

Re: pci sxpansion

On my own account, it is pretty much more stable from v5.0.

I use mainly XTC mode these days and I never really encounter PCI bandwidth errors.

Re: pci sxpansion

You don't have Scope v5.0? (SC Ambience, Plate, Chorus Delay etc?)

I don't know, but considering 17 Masterverb instances used to be the mark, you would have to agree that below 10 is below par.
