First let me say that I agree with you regarding the matter of "relative truth". Semantics and Titles are indeed a relative and personal point of view. However, my critisism is less about the misuse of the phrase (although after reading my post again I see how that could be misunderstood) ...

thanks for the rapid reply but im afraid nothing happened. i didnt have an OXE folder so i created one and copied the *.oxe file into it, restarted sfp (even tried rebooting my machine) but nothing happened... should i see a new menu somewhere? should an installation dialogue pop up or something? th...

so i decided to take advantage of the christmas discounts and i spoiled myself with the mixer package 1 (finally no more STM 16/32) but the thing is im not sure how to install it. i was sent to my mail my new allkeys.skf file and a link to the ftp page where i downloaded the Mixer_Package_1.oxe file...

so here's the thing I routed a stereo channel in Nuendo 3 via stereo output bus back to pulsar, inserted on that channel a 4 pole filter, assigned the frequency knob to a knob on my controller (CC 91 to be exact)...up to here everythings allright. so i gave up trying to figure it out and decided to format my system and install xp again and hope that the pulsar will install bug free this time,,, i popped in the xp installation cd and started installing. after the screen in which i chose standard pc there's the stage where the setup just loads ...

remembered that when i installed xp i couldnt install standard pc so i tried out acpi
changed it to standard and walla(!) problem's gone
