Re: Most beautiful space image !

Thanks ! I already watched Jim Al-Khalili series you mention about science history. After music, my other passion is science history. If I could re-born and re-live, I would go at school for a much longer time and study science history. His documentaries are excellent ! And I didn't know the 'Dark a...

Re: Solaris to PCI cards via spdif ?

That one is bidirectional (in french) : https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B07BPKMDKT/ref=psdc_1455205031_t3_B00EDKXEQK But only one way at the time. So 2 are needed. Thanks for help ! But nobody confirmed that classic fouet "DIG I...

Re: Solaris to PCI cards via spdif ?

Thanks to all ! I already use the AES/EBU for my TC finalizer... :D And I want to keep it like that ! I was speaking about this (from Scope "connector" pdf p.2) : classic fouet.jpg Mine is not exactly the same : all RCA's are in plastic. But there is 2 yellow (like on the picture) "DIG IN & DIG OUT"...

Solaris to PCI cards via spdif ?

Hi ! I'm waiting for my Solaris that should arrive within next months. I must be ready ! I'd like to link my PCI cards to the Solaris thru analog I/O but also via spdif. Apparently, on my recently bought 15 dsp card, I've got a cable fouet classic 20 in which there is spdif I/O. I see only RCA's. 2 ...

Re: Most beautiful space image !

I think nobody knows if Jupiter has a surface ! It may be just gas. And more you go down toward its center, more the pressure increase until the probe is destroyed. I believe the gravity is so huge that once a probe goes to close to Jupiter, it can't anymore go away. But you can at least watch that ...

That's a great news !

Didn't try yet but that should mean you can modulate plugins automation parameters with any modulation signal coming from any module ! Fun !

Re: Most beautiful space image !

:o Damn ! An expedition worthy of the greatest explorers ! At least, even if our observation site is at 1km, we take the car ! And my son takes his bike : not enough space in the car. By foot, it would not be possible. I'd enjoy to see a picture of your telescope ! Was the image of what you were obs...

--> Astroman --> Yes ! That's right : I've seen thousands of Saturne pictures before but when I saw it by myself in the telescope, an one billion time more ugly Saturne than on space book pictures, I had much more emotion ! Re: Luna ll

You can't connect anything else than Luna I/O (or A16) to the dsp card ! Z-link is only a creamware or SC protocol. Which cubase version are you running ? I think you've got to set up inputs in cubase in a menu called something like "studio management", choose Scope asio drivers and in Scope add asi...

Wow I already saw some of those Jupiter pictures but not all of them. They are fantastic ! A Newton telescope from scratch ! People who have the courage to build their own telescope buy at least the mirror ! It's perhaps from that telescope adventure that your pseudo comes from !? It's very hard to ...

Most beautiful space image !

Don't know if there are a lot people interested in astronomy on Z but since I've found that picture which is now on my screen, I wanted to share it. On a 4k monitor, it's spectacular ! I'm an astronomy amateur and I've got a nice heavy telescope and sometimes, my son and I go to make some observatio...

Re: PCI Overflow Solved

Nice one, Jimmy ! :)

I get quite good result also by never forgetting to assign Scope asio module to DSP 2. But I'll definitively try the kontakt voice reduce trick the next time I get a pci overflow message.

Re: Computer installation

Damn ! I don't know where all your issues came from ! When I do a fresh W10 install, just after, I search all latest drivers of the mobo and the graphic card, then I install ALL the rest (This part is the interminable one), then I make a nice backup. I use AOMEI backupper which allows to add what ha...

Re: Scope as admin ?

Thanks !
So, it's not necessary to run v7 as admin..? It seems to work flawlessly and drag-drop from windows explorer is less painful.

I also stopped to run cubase as admin but not for long time... I remember why it should be runned as admin : jbridge plugins have a white gui if not !

Re: Problem with meter mode scope V7

I remember that the other meter mode disapeared on Xite version of Scope. Indded, I just checked in my PCI's and they are all there but not on Xite. Don't know why, it's a pity, they are useful !

Scope as admin ?

I'd like to know if it's still essential to run Scope as admin and ... Why ? (I can't remember why... :D )
Because to run as admin can also generate gentle boring issues.

So, today, I decided to run as non admin ! I like dangerous life. I'm a hothead, I'm not scared of anything.

Thanks !
