Folks, What's the difference between the two DSP cards besides the obvious DSP count difference? Thanks! Z [ This Message was edited by: The Z Station on 2006-08-18 11:53 ] [ This Message was edited by: The Z Station on 2006-08-18 11:54 ]

Great, thanks Miguel!

I'll give this a try. That "punch on the fly" sounds familiar, too... I have to relearn Logic again...

Cheers!

Gents and Ladies (if any), I've solved this problem before but now I can't remember how I fixed it. It's been a few years since I've touched my DAW. Now that I'm getting back into it, I started having issues with LAP5. When recording, there is about a 30 second pause before it srtarts recording anyt...

Well, I found another board! As much as I've been obsessing with the P4C800-E for the past year, I found another board that has everything I want and can finally use my Adaptec 29320 card that's been sitting in my closet for ages... So, I guess I'll be selling (maybe) my P4C800-E and get the Super M...

Tanks for the tip, dbmac!

Hey Valis, what make is your mobo? I've been eyeing on a SuperMicro board but it's rediculously expensive so I opted on the P4C800-E and perhaps start migrating to S-ATA...

Slot 1 for the I/O board eh? Doesn't Slot 1 share the AGP or is this not the case on the more modern boards... My CUBX board had the same IRQ sharing and it's very limiting. What about the video noise interference having SCOPE being next to the video card? That's why I always place any audio cards a...

Hey Fine Z Peeps! Well, it's time for that upgrade and I was reading that some people are having quirks with the P4C800-E Deluxe board. I'm basing my new SCOPE Host Box with that particular board... CONFIG: Chassis: Lian-Li PC6070+Mod clear panel PSU: Enermax Noisetaker 550 watts MoBo: P4C800-E Delu...

Thanks! I'm saving up to get a Vienna Symphonic Library and re-record this into a new piece but ultimately, I'd rather use a real orchestra - $$$

Hey Gang! After taking a hiatus in music and dabbling with photgraphy and writing my Pscy-Fi - "Human Aliens", I'm finally getting back to my music passion - which never really left since everything else I'm doing relates to music. I've been constructing my basic website to showcase some o...

Hello Jngaelin, I don't know about your particular Mobo but as for my old Asus CUBX, my IRQ's are shared on the hardware level. I think this is the share scheme for my old board... PCI 1 = AGP PCI 2 = AGP PCI 3 = PCI 6 PCI 4 = PCI 5 + USB PCI 5 = PCI 4 + USB PCI 6 = PCI 3 So everytime I change an IR...

The new CWA.de... Simply... WOW!

I think the new CW is on the right track... Albeit, technologically no quantum leap yet; the new SCOPE 4.0 is a definite welcome! Now, hoping that Cutmaster Pro will follow soon!

Thanks and welcome back, CW!

It was just all a matter of time. Although I haven't been focusing on the music techology aspect lately, I'm very happy that CW is back in action and hopefully with a vengeance!

Welcome back, Creamware!

All these seq/DAWS are good. It all depends on how the way to approach recording... I use tripleDAT, Sonar 2, LAP 5, and Cubase SX - and tried Samplitude (which will be next on my list of "gets".). All of these are great but am still partial to tripleDAT's simplicity - eagerly awaiting for...

Thanks much, Frank! Ever since tripleDAT, I've always known that CW will live on. From time-to-time, things at CW appear to slow down. Naturally, Creamwarian's reaction would be as such especially without the knowledge of what truly is in the CW underground. I never lost hope, but sometimes, I can't...
