Andre - that's great news!
But I'm way over in Australia...

However, I will definitely talk with you more via email because I had decided long ago that all music computers I run will be built specifically around Scope.

It would be fantastic to get valuable advice from the company itself....great!

I'm thinking of upgrading my music computer to something very durable so that I can take my Scope on the road if necessary. I've always heard of Carillon systems as being very good for audio with their durable and quiet rack-mounted setup and think that this could be an option. Some of the desirable...

Hi guys, I'm going to be purchasing IK Multimedia's Miroslav Philharmonik shortly which comes with an IKEY licensing system - basically a USB key. I understand it is the same system used for the most current version of Cubase. Not being a Cubase user myself I don't know if there are any known proble...

expansion instead of replacing will be the action  Maybe - but I couldn't really care less whether it's one or the other at the moment. I'd rather deal with a real spec rather than spec-ulation for the time being. Only then will I start worrying about any of it. Again though - hurrah for Crea...

To tell you the truth, I'm just happy to see them getting some success with their investment.

I always feel that it is in my interests for Creamware to be on a winner.

I'm happy to wait a while before I get myself in a panic about replacing or upgrading my setup.

I was always expecting various sequencers/hosts to take the lead in implementing support for alternative scalings and other microtonal wonders. I know Muzys implemented microtonal support but I don't know how many others did. I also don't know how effective these kinds of implementations are. Did th...

I'm not sure what host you've got, but there is a VST plug-in from Tobybear called Microtuner. You download it as part of his Midibag products. If your host supports VST midi, this may be handy for you. Microtuner supports SCALA, VAZ and Anamark tuning files. As it has a midi input and output, it wi...

Hey - maybe you can post some of the diverse stuff done with Python Pro in this thread?

That would get your point across quite well I reckon and I'm certainly interested in hearing the range of this thing.

Ah John.
Wasn't directing that at your site. You link to where the synth is described.

I don't think I'm necessarily interested in Python myself.

Was just offering a possible explanation for the lack of interest for this particular synth.

Buy a VSTi !!!
Actually I tend to agree.
I decided a while back to make my CPU my sampling mayhem playground and use various VSTi sampling devices.

And then Creamware would take on some of the synths and all the DSP and mixing.

I've mentioned it numerous times that I really don't get that people ask for innovative synths (and not the 105th vintage fake) that the Python gets so few attention. To tell you the truth, I think the synth is very poorly advertised. The mp3 files that I can find for it show a fairly ordinary emul...

The Orion host has an inbuilt generator that does something similar and does allow you do use your own wavetables as long as they conform to certain rules like samplelength etc.. So you have Wavefusion in Orion LinPlug's CronoX ConcreteFX Kubik. I don't know if they use the same method exactly, and ...

If it were me, I would get Solaris and the RD Modules. Then I'm not so sure I'd buy another synth. Solaris seems to me a beast of a synth and sometimes you don't want a beast. But you already have Minimax which is a high quality, less complicated synth. It seems fairly immediate which is something y...

The price is now down to the $159 mark for this product. This is a pretty cool price for the loads of drums you'll get.
