Xite-1 for sale

SOLD Xite-1 for sale. Bought it when the Soniccore website still was mentioning "OSX support soon" :( Hasn't been used since then other than some testing with bootcamp. Some scratches from (un)rackmounting. It's collecting dust now, so somebody else might use it in a more productive way:) ...

Re: Would you pay $500 for a MAC OSX version of Scope?

Of coure Xite is greater that any platform (even still use my old cards from time to time in the studio) but I'm stuck with several mac applications for live performances. I tried bootcamp but of course I can't use any of my mac software anymore at the same time. Besides that XP32 with bootcamp wasn...

I just wondering if it is possible to add more inputs to the XITE. It seems there are only 16 digital audio-IOs
Can't you use the z-link and the adat at the same time? So one A-16 hooked up with Z-link, a second A-16 with adat.
That would give 32 IO.

Re: SCOPE 64 Bit beta..........?

i've received this message: OSX we may have in about 6 months. -- Is that for real/official? Still waiting to upgrade to a new macbookpro. But if I'll have to wait for another 6 month I'll buy a cheap pc laptop for the time being. I really don't want my xite to be an expensive dustcatcher :) Jerome

Re: Xite on Macbookpro with bootcamp XP?

It works although bootcamp messed up my OSX tiger partition :( Luckily I made a disk backup but it set me back several hours. Apple warns not to use bootcamp1.3 on a commercial system, I agree :) I hadn't much time to play around with Xite (some deadlines). Most of the example projects open and run....

Re: Xite on Macbookpro with bootcamp XP?

It should work with XP, Vista and Windows7 32b according to Ralf. But no tests on a macbookpro. "We have never tested if we can run XITE with Bootcamp. Scope 5.0 software is running on XP, Vista and 7 with 32 Bit. 64 bit versions are in development. So you can give it a try with bootcamp."

Re: ExpressCard arrived :-)

That's comical. Mine was delivered yesterday at my studio in Holland.
Unfortunately I'm working in Switzerland this week so I have to be patient till I get home.
With laptop do you use with the expresscard?

Re: Xite on Macbookpro with bootcamp XP?

Thanks, I'll mail them to check if there's a XP driver for the expresscard.
Gary, you think there isn't one for XP, only for windows7?

Xite on Macbookpro with bootcamp XP?

Does anybody know whether Xite will run on a macbookpro with bootcamp/XP ? My dell laptop just died 2 days before my expresscard will arrive :( I don't want to buy a new windows laptop just for the time till OSX for Xite will be ready. I can't try out because 'm on still on OSX tiger without bootcam...

A Dutch designer made it, the whole site is made in flash. (www.vanverbazing.nl). His own website isn't really up to date cause he's always extremely busy  He also made the webdesign and other artwork for several dance/theater groups where i write music for.

My OS is XP. Under Win 98/ME I wouldn´t have tried it under this conditions (deadlines and so). Indeed, I used the mark-knutson tool to see how the firewirecard was doing latency wise. And I thought when things don´t work well I always can get the firewirecard out again. By the way, recording severa...

Thanks for the fingers Astroman
Everything went flawless. System still stable and 80 gig of video in my workstation ready to get some nice music under it.
Must admid that some sweat from my forehead was dripping in my pc when adding the card. Still no problems though
