Re: The end of an era

I remember Ali from Vancouver office, very helpful. And Paul Tanti (Mr. Echo), and Shahin (known as Shaman).
Before that Creamware NA was here in Toronto where I got my TripleDat board - met Frank Hund there

Re: Set "CPU Affinity" to CORE 0 to use 64bit Scope ASIO

For the record I solved my problem with a BIOS setting that I had overlooked - the CPU Core Feature "C3/C6/C7 State Support" was enabled. Disabling it cured my audio glitches. Hooray!
I have to be more thorough when I check the system

Re: Set "CPU Affinity" to CORE 0 to use 64bit Scope ASIO

I don't know about that. I'm on Win10. >JoPo - computer strangeness indeed. I've tried every system & BIOS option I can find, pored over endless knowledge base articles, there doesn't seem to be a "soft" fix. I've been struggling with this for months. Time to start removing hardware. O...

Re: Set "CPU Affinity" to CORE 0 to use 64bit Scope ASIO

Yeah, I've already checked that possibility - I removed the 32bit boot and it had no change. The 64bit Scope 5.1 has no paths to the 32bit install, and all projects are from scratch. I guess trying another graphics card is my only unexplored option. Again, very strange to me that the issue doesn't e...

Re: Set "CPU Affinity" to CORE 0 to use 64bit Scope ASIO

Thanks for input. *jopo - I've tried all the CPU priority options with Scope.exe and the DAW exe - no change. I wondered about the video card, it's the cheapest dual-head I could find, but it doesn't seem to be a graphics conflict. It seems to relate to the Windows cpu core-switching activity, and o...

Set "CPU Affinity" to CORE 0 to use 64bit Scope ASIO

I'm searching for other users' experience with this issue: Any program using Scope 5.1 ASIO has to be set to use only Core 0 to prevent extreme audio distortion - constant clicks. This is on a 64-bit Win 10 OS. The BIOS and Windows power-saving options are disabled, and all IRQ conflicts eliminated ...

Also try changing presets. That fixed a mute Minimax for me.

Re: problem with win7/64 and jb synth-pack

Me too, I can be patient.
Mostly my issue is a bunch of "file missing" messages that have to be ignored after which the devices load and work. So it's tolerable.

Oh yeah, he knows about this.
I don't want to hound John right now, he must be as busy (or more) than the SC guys. But I hope this is on his list (Xite versions too) & more requests will help.

Re: Wavelab 7 problem

Same with me. Steinberg support suggests I remove scope drivers, enable onboard audio in BIOS, start up Wavelab to use on board driver, then reactivate Scope hardware (and de-activate on board audio). Seems like a lot of hoop-jumping so I haven't bothered. PG at Wavelab knows about the issue but I g...

Wavelab 7 problem

Has anyone here got Wavelab 7 (or even v.6) to work with the latest Scope Asio drivers (Version 5.1.2709)?
