Re: recording studios

That is a broad subject to say the least. Do you have any business management skills/experience? If not it would be a good idea to get serious about it and find resources for business starting to make a solid business plan and learn what you need about that side of things. You'll be running a busine...

Re: are some people truely a waste of time

Mother Earth can easily feed every mouth, there's no doubt there. Even with the totally destructive insane agricultural practices which deplete soils and poison the land, we still can feed the population, mostly. Imagine restoring a community-based, respectful of Nature's balance agriculture, then t...

Re: are some people truely a waste of time

Why do yo...

Re: xite upgrade offer clarification

Ok I see, thanks for the clarification. My question was more about the actual money rebate and the possibility to trade in more than one board.

I'll write soniccore when I'm ready to get one of these babies... Hopefully soon!

xite upgrade offer clarification

So, what's the deal exactly? It says up to 900 euros of rebate, does that include the half-price plugins? Can I trade in both a scope and a pulsar board? I find the info pretty unclear on their website... Thanks

Re: need help troubleshooting cpu spikes

I'm getting another laptop, so I'd like some advice on what's working (or not)... Or... I could rack my trusted pc and have a more powerful but less mobile rig... I'll ponder what's best and listen to your suggestions... Thanks again for the input and the friendly vibes! Love and Light to you all!

Re: need help troubleshooting cpu spikes

ok I ran the dpc checker and it says my system is ok but the cpu spikes are clearly visible on the task manager, they're pretty regular at 15 seconds intervals more or less. The cpus rise at 30-40% causing crackles in the audio... I tried installing XP on my laptop but I couldn't do it because of dr...

Hi there! I got myself a new vaio laptop to use as a loopstation for live performances. I have it connected with my novation x-station through usb, but I have recurring cpu spikes every 15 seconds or so, making it glitchy and unusable as such... Any help to fix this would be awesome! Re: Preset Bug

The preset bug afflicted only certain users, so if everything works alright for you, then your system might be immune to it. On my part, everything seemed to work fine after I updated the mix 8 module, but I did not conduct extensive testing. All I know is after the update the presets were correctly...

Re: Is there /will there be a convolution reverb for scope ?

Take a look at the spectral relativity package and you'll quickly realize the scope of it for sound mangling and texturing. A waste of dsp? I find this remark a bit nar...
